Centre of Vocational Excellence in
Welding and
Non-Destructive Testing.
On November 11, 2024, the partners of the COVE-WENDT project - the Centre of Vocational
Excellence in Welding and Non-Destructive Testing - had an online meeting to discuss the
progress of the project.
The COVE-WENDT project, funded by the European Union,
continues to progress according to the established plan, with the partners actively
involved in the implementation of the activities.
The main points addressed during the meeting were:
● Updating the curricula and guidelines on the technical skills and key competences
required for digitalization and the transition to a green welding sector;
● Development of innovative educational materials on digitalization and the transition
to a green welding sector;
● Progress in the development of the transnational collaborative IT platform;
● The regional strategy to increase the efficiency of vocational education and training
governance;
● Organization of the next physical meeting of the partners, which will take place in
Miskolc, Hungary, from February 19-20, 2025. The event will be organized by Miskolci Szakképzési Centrum;
