From the 7th–11th of April 2025, the COVE-WENDT Erasmus+ Project hosted an intensive international training course. Held at the Vocational Training Centre of Miskolc in Hungary, the programme focused on the digital and innovative teaching methods essential for modern Vocational Education and Training (VET).
Adapting to a fast-paced Industry as the industrial landscape evolves in a digital and sustainability-driven
direction, conventional teaching methods are no longer sufficient to meet modern challenges. This training was
specifically designed to bridge the gap, equipping VET teachers and trainers with the advanced digital skills and
tools required to deliver high-impact, future-ready learning experiences.

This training aimed to equip VET teachers and trainers with the digital skills and tools they need to deliver high-impact learning
experiences. Technical Deep-Dive and Hands-on Development Throughout the week, participants engaged in a comprehensive curriculum
designed to modernise the delivery of technical education.
During the week, participants explored:
● E-Learning Foundations: Mastering the fundamentals of distance learning and the management of online platforms.
● Creative Digital Tools: Practical application of tools such as Canva, eXeLearning, and Kahoot to enhance classroom engagement.
● Assessment Innovation: Exploring new methods for accurately assessing learning outcomes in a digital environment.
● Practical Project Work: Collaborative sessions where participants developed specific online courses tailored to the welding sector.
Strengthening the European Network Beyond the technical training, the event fostered invaluable international collaboration and the
exchange of best practices among our partners. By sharing pedagogical materials and development strategies, we are ensuring a unified
approach to excellence across the consortium.
A second edition of this course is already planned for 2027. We encourage all stakeholders to stay tuned as we continue to build
capacity and drive innovation within the VET sector.
