COVE-WENDT has landed in Italy with ISTITUTO ITALIANO DELLA SALDATURA, in particular in Udine on the 21-22/05 with the first national
event for the Skills Competition (Category Excellence in young/students).
Fourteen participants, fifteen-sixteen years old, from seven italian schools had a huge contest for two days.
Three welding processes (GMAW, SMAW and GTAW) and a theoretical test to establish the winner. Daniele Tezzon has gained the opportuniy to join the International skills competition in autumn in ISIM TIMIŞOARA.
Many thanks to all the young welders, to the schools and all the italian companies that participated.
The demand for digital education and the transition to green industry are increasing. Training centres need to adapt to this trend.
