You can access the full interviews with the winners below:

1. What motivated you, personally or professionally, to join National Welding Competition?
I was very intrigued by the competition itself. It represented not only a challenge but also an opportunity to test my skills against other talented welders. I wanted to see how far my abilities could take me in a demanding environment.

2. Was there someone who inspired you?
Not directly. However, I’ve always been inspired by the idea of continuous improvement and by the pride that comes from mastering such a complex and essential trade.

3. What role did mentors, instructors, or colleagues play in your journey?
They were extremely important. My mentors and colleagues helped me grow both technically and personally. They pushed me to refine my techniques, encouraged me when I faced difficulties, and showed me the value of teamwork in a profession that often seems individual but is actually built on collaboration.

4. What would you do differently if you participated again?
Not much, to be honest. Every competition is a learning experience, and while I have my own “professional secrets,” I believe the key is to stay consistent and focused.

5. Tell us about a moment that moved you or made you feel that your work has a real impact.
Winning the title of Master Welder 2025 was unforgettable. It wasn’t just about the recognition, but about realizing that years of effort, training, and dedication had truly paid off. It gave me the confidence that my work can inspire others in the field.

6. How did preparing for the competition help you develop your technical or soft skills (communication, leadership, etc.)?
It taught me how to face difficulties with resilience. Beyond technical skills, I learned to manage stress, communicate effectively with teammates, and maintain focus under pressure. These are qualities that go far beyond welding and are useful in any professional context.

7. How do you think such competitions can change the public's perception of the welding profession?
I don’t think they will radically change perceptions, for better or worse. However, they do highlight the high level of skill and dedication required in welding, and that visibility is valuable. Even if the general perception doesn’t shift dramatically, those who follow the competitions gain a deeper respect for the trade.

8. If you could share one thought with young people just starting out in the welding profession, what would it be?
I would share my own experience and emphasize the importance of commitment. Always put in the effort to learn, because welding is a profession where every day offers a chance to improve. Dedication and curiosity are what make the difference between a good welder and an excellent one.

1. What motivated you, personally or professionally, to join National Welding Competition?
What pushed me to participate was the desire to challenge myself, to put my knowledge and skills to the test in a demanding environment, while sharing the experience with other young participants who are equally passionate about welding. It was a chance to step out of my comfort zone and measure myself against high standards.

2. Was there someone who inspired you?
It all started from my natural curiosity and a personal reflection. I realized that I wanted an important experience that could help me grow, both as a professional and as a person. That inner drive to improve myself was the real spark.

3. What role did mentors, instructors, or colleagues play in your journey?
The people who supported me were fundamental. Beyond helping me with technical preparation, they gave me trust and motivation. Their encouragement allowed me to overcome obstacles and stay focused on my goal. Having people who believe in you makes a huge difference.

4. What would you do differently if you participated again?
I would do the same things, but with even greater determination. Every step of the journey was valuable, and if I had the chance to go through it again, I would put even more energy and focus into it.

5. Tell us about a moment that moved you or made you feel that your work has a real impact.
Yes, the moment I handed in my test pieces. That was when I saw that my work was on par with what the other competitors had produced. It gave me confidence that my efforts were leading to real results.

6. How did preparing for the competition help you develop your technical or soft skills (communication, leadership, etc.)?
As I trained, my confidence grew day by day. I could feel my technical skills improving, and with them, my sense of personal growth. It was a gradual but powerful process of becoming more aware of my abilities.

7. How do you think such competitions can change the public's perception of the welding profession?
From the outside, seeing the effort and dedication required in these competitions can help people appreciate the importance of passing on technical and professional skills to young people. It shows that welding is not just a trade, but a profession that requires passion, discipline, and continuous learning.

8. If you could share one thought with young people just starting out in the welding profession, what would it be?
I would tell them that welding is a fascinating and dynamic world, full of experiences and skills, and never boring. It offers constant opportunities for professional growth and technological advancement. If you approach it with curiosity and commitment, it can become a truly rewarding career.
