New Curriculum & Guidelines Availble

The COVE-WENDT project is proud to announce a major milestone in our mission to modernise industrial education. After extensive research and collaboration during our second year, the New Curriculum and Guidelines are now officially available to the public and our network of stakeholders.

Defining the Skills for a New Era As the welding and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) sectors undergo a dual economic transition, the demand for updated training has never been higher.

These newly released documents focus specifically on:
Technical Excellence: Cutting-edge welding techniques integrated with the latest NDT standards.
Digitalisation: Embedding digital tools and automated processes into the core VET (Vocational Education and Training) experience.
The Green Transition: Guidelines focused on sustainability, energy efficiency, and the "third route" for material upcycling.

The Guidelines serve as a roadmap for VET providers and industrial partners, offering a structured approach to i mplementing these high-tech competences. By aligning our pedagogical materials with real-world industrial needs, we are ensuring that the future workforce is not only skilled but adaptable to the fast-paced changes of Industry 4.0.
