The News Post
of the COVE-WENDT Project
Centre of Vocational Excellence in
Welding and
Non-Destructive Testing.
Our team recently returned from Budapest, Hungary, after taking part in two brilliant events hosted by the Budapest University of Technology and Economics. It was a busy but incredibly rewarding couple of days.
E.17 "Digital Training" & COVE-WENDT Partner
Meeting:
We kicked off by diving into the E.17 "Digital Training" sessions,
followed closely by our project partners meeting for the COVE-WENDT
project.
It was great to sit down face-to-face with the rest of the team to review where we stand,
celebrate our milestones, and plan the next steps. The energy in the room was fantastic, and
we are completely aligned and on track for what's coming next.
33rd International Welding Conference & Workshop:
Alongside our main meetings, we also joined the 33rd International Welding
Conference and the New Trends in Welding Sector
workshop.
Our partners had the chance to present several scientific papers, and
it was wonderful to see how much interest they generated. Contributing to the global
conversation on advanced welding technologies and materials science is
always a highlight for us.
The takeaway: These days in Budapest were a perfect reminder of
why international collaboration matters. We've returned home even more
committed to pushing the boundaries of welding and NDT expertise across
Europe.
A huge thank you to everyone who made these days so productive. We can't wait for the next
steps ahead!
